The Alameda County CMA Guaranteed Ride Home Program does just what it says. It guarantees you a ride home from work when unexpected circumstances arise.

You can feel comfortable taking the bus, train or ferry, carpooling, vanpooling, walking, or bicycling to work, knowing that you will have a ride home in case of illness, family crisis, unscheduled overtime, or a missed rideshare trip.

• Participants and their employers must pre-register in the program. There is no cost to employers or employees to participate.
  
• Employers must be located in Alameda County and have 75 or more employees or be part of a registered business park.
  
• Employees must be permanent full-time or permanent part-time employees and live within 100 miles of their worksite.
  

By providing "insurance" for your commute, we encourage you to leave your car behind, and help reduce traffic and improve air quality in the Bay Area.

NEW! It is now easier than ever to join the Guaranteed Ride Home Program. Employers with 75 or more employees can register for the program and take advantage of the commute incentives.
